Some people are still questioning what a healthy diet is. A healthy diet is actually a balance habitual diet and of course, it involves eating a range of different foods, which is inadequate for a food group variation. Actually, there are five types of foods that must be consumed to complete the nutrition of the body. Those kinds of the group are starchy foods (bread, rice, pasta, potatoes, cereals); protein foods (meat, fish eggs, beans); dairy foods (milk, cheese and yoghurt); fruits and vegetables; oils and spreads. Even though those groups must be consumed, we have to make sure the portion is balance.

The digestive system runs from the mouth, stomach and anus. There are a lot of small intestines and some accessory organ such as the saliva glands, pancreas, liver, and gallbladder. Food takes around some hours to pass through the stomach with another digestive system until it is expelled through the anus. If the food that we consume is healthy and proportional, it helps our digestive system to cultivate it well.

Water is also one important substance for human digestion. It is important to keep drinking water because it encourages the passage of waste through the digestive system. That is an organ that is called a Fiber.  Fibre acts like a sponge which is absorbing the water. Without the fluid or water, the fibre cannot do its job, so it exactly affects the digestive system work.

All nutrition must be fulfilled completely. Not only for the digestive system, it works for all body system. The digestive system will cultivate the nutrition and spread the nutrition substance throughout the cells and organs of the body. Therefore, a healthy diet that is processed through a healthy digestive system is really important for our body.

However, healthy food sometimes has a high price tag. Not all people in this world can consume complete healthy food to fulfil their nutrition needs. The main problem is economic problems. The government all around the world must pay attention to their citizens’ nutrition.
